A Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara Ann Cook, 88, of Indianola, who passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at Westview Care Center in Indianola, will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, June 30 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Indianola with burial following in the Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines. Visitation with family present will be held one hour prior to services at the church.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Ballwahn, Karen Miller, Richard (Linda) Cook, Rebecca (Richard) Adams and Julie (Brett) Buelow; son-in-law, Mike Keenan; 17 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Cook, John Dobberthein, Mary Deragowski and Larry Dobberthein. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Kathryn Dobberthein; husband, Richard Cook; son, David Cook; daughter, Debra Keenan; and brothers, Verle, Joseph and Thomas Dobberthein.
