Anthony E. "Tony" Goode, 53, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 in Des Moines. A private family service will be held. Burial will take place in the Webb Cemetery, Rural Norwalk, Iowa.

Tony grew up in a crazy house with seven brothers and sisters.

As a little boy, he would ride around in his 'Tony Goode California Highway Patrol Car' that was made especially for him. In elementary school, he loved playing baseball with the Pioneer League on a team named The Cubs. He also enjoyed his bowling team.

As he grew up, his love for cars grew. In fact, he usually had more cars than his parents wanted him to have. As an adult, he played in several pool leagues throughout Warren and Polk County. He made several friends through these hobbies.

Tony is survived by his mother, Mary Goode; siblings, Dino (Jackie) Goode, Kevin (Theresa) Goode, Matt (Rhonda) Goode, Kelly (Jim) Keller, Mike (Denise) Goode; 18 nieces and nephews; 8 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Goode; siblings, Rhonda and Kim; and niece Jennifer.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital.
