IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anna Louise
Titchbourne
December 15, 1936 – November 11, 2016
Anna Louise Titchbourne, 79, passed away peacefully Friday, November 11, 2016 at her home in Mesa, AZ. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, December 14 at 7 p.m. at Overton Funeral Home, Indianola. Visitation will be held prior from 4 to 7 p.m. with family present from 5 to 7 p.m at the funeral home. Burial of the cremains will follow at a later date in the Indianola I.O.O.F Cemetery. Louise graduated from Indianola High School. She was married to Ronald Ruble and lived in the house where she grew up. Louise was a homemaker that planted a large garden and flowers, sewed a lot of the kids' clothing, went to auctions buying furniture that she refinished and upholstered. She was a 4-H leader and belonged to Grow and Glow Garden Club. She was very creative and talented when it came to decorating and arts and crafts. In the early 70's she opened The Boutique Shop in Indianola. Louise wrote her own bead instruction book. After the shop closed, she started painting and opened Tole Farm Studio in the basement of her home with Jim Wiley, where she taught painting classes. She was also interested in genealogy. She did extensive research of the McPherson and Ruble family history. Louise was very active in Scottish social organizations which were very important to her. She made several trips to Scotland, had a Scottish brother and sister stay in her home and was a member of the McPherson Clan. She married Ray Titchbourne in 1985 and moved to Mesa, AZ. Louise worked as a travel agent for a number of years prior to moving back to Indianola 4 1/2 years ago. Louise was unique, witty and a bit audacious at times. She was loved by her family and provided them with many fun memories.
She is survived by her husband Ray Titchbourne of Mesa Arizona; sister, Margaret (Peg) Rodgers of Mesa Arizona; four children Kent (Jayne) Ruble, Rhonda (John) Crouse, Kim Warner and Kirk Ruble; six grandchildren Josh Crouse, Kristin Crouse, John Crouse, Brook Breuklander, Aaron Page and Wade Ruble, and five great-grandchildren Alek Hollingsworth, Aleigha Strange, Carson Crouse, Brody Page, Baeya Breuklander and Jax Crouse (all of Indianola). She was preceded in death by her parents William and Martha Harriett (Roan) McPherson; brothers John McPherson, Charles McPherson and sister, Lucille Graham.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Warren County Historical Society or Ackworth Friends Church in her name. Online condolences may be made at
