Amy Lynn Denton was born April 2, 1978 in Ames, Iowa, to Rick and Mary Lou Denton.  She resided in Cambridge, Iowa and was a 1997 graduate of Ballard High School.  She was married to Wil O'Tool in 1999 and had two beautiful children, Breanna and Cooper.

Amy passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017, in Indianola, Iowa at the age of 38 years.

She is survived by her children, Breanna and Cooper O'Tool; parents, Rick and Mary Lou Denton; older brother, Aaron (Stacy) Denton; twin sister, Angy Denton; grandmothers, Dorothy Denton and Catherine James; and special friend, Justin Lamberti. She was preceded in death by two grandfathers, a step-grandfather and an uncle.

Amy truly lived life to the fullest.  She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.  She enjoyed life, had an infectious laugh, and was willing to help anyone in need who crossed her path.  She is already greatly missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to known her.
