Alta was born January 3, 1922, the daughter of John and Julia Laudner. She was married for 61 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Wilbur of Indianola; son Michael (Joyce) Warburton of Des Moines; daughters, Patricia (Don) Willett of Des Moines ad Sandra (Reg) Molln of Indianola; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Beryl and Wilma Jorgensen and Berniece Koenigsberg; brother, Karl Laudner.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family in her name.
