Allen Dudney put up a brave fight against cancer and on May 6, 2010 past away due to the complications of pneumonia.  Services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Martensdale on Monday May 10, 2010 at 10:00 am followed with burial at Wallace cemetery, Wick, IA.  Visitation will be held at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola on Sunday May 9, 2010 from 5 to 8; family will receive friends from 6-8 pm. Allen was born in Winterset on February 23, 1962 to Doyle and Charlene Dudney.  He attended Martensdale St. Marys Community School and graduated from Valley High School in 1980.  He enjoyed tinkering on lawn mowers and playing his guitars.   He is survived by his daughter Roxanne (Ozzy) Oswalt, 3 grandchildren (Lexi , Noah, and Presley), his mother Charlene, 5 brothers Mike (Jamie), Pat (Diana) , Randy (Sandy), Richard, Gary (Jeri Jo),  many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Doyle Dudney and grandparents Charles & Emily Strable and Everett & Viva Dudney.
