Alicia Nicole Weaver, 31, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2022, at ProMedica in West Des Moines, IA. Visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held in the Winterset Cemetery, Winterset, IA.

Alicia was born July 30, 1990, to Peggy Roney and is survived by her sisters, Courtney (Kevin) Madely and family, Teresa (James) Grooms and family, Tracy Clague and family, Amy Weaver and family, and Jessica Weaver and family.

Alicia lived a joyful life, graduating from Adel Desoto Minburn High School in 2009. She later attended Imagine the Possibilities, where she met most of her amazing friends. She had a love for dancing and all things music. She had an eye for boys and smiled and laughed at them often! Her favorite food was spaghetti and as a small child would eat so much, she would literally fall asleep on her plate. She gained the stubborn trait we all carry and was never afraid to let those around her know she was unhappy. Anyone who met her instantly fell in love with her. Her infectious laugh and energy were just a few qualities among many that made her so special to so many. She has had many caregivers through her life who she loved fiercely, as we all did.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Marvin and Pearl Wilkinson and her mother Peggy Roney.
