Services for A. Louise Walker, 97, who passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015, will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the Indianola Regular Baptist Church with visitation held one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Alice Louise Rodgers, daughter of Vance and Georgia Rodgers was born July 23, 1918 near Pleasantville, Iowa and had lived most of her life in Warren County.

Louise graduated from Beech High School and worked in the Des Moines dime store, box factory and Indianola Good Samaritan.

On July 21, 1945, she was united in marriage to Chester LaVere Walker and to this union two sons, Leland and Larry, were born. In 1952, the family moved to a farm in Palmyra Township, rural Warren County where they lived until 1979 when they moved to Indianola.

Louise was a member of the Indianola Regular Baptist Church.

She is survived by sons, Leland (Esther) and Larry (Ruth) Walker; granddaughter Nicole (Mike) Kilpatrick; grandson, Ryan (Rachele) Walker; and great-grandchildren, Kaylynn, Noah and Bentley.
