ALICE F. KELLOGG Indianola Alice Kellogg, 96, passed away on March 3, 2012 at The Village, a WesleyLife Community, in Indianola. Alice was born March 6, 1915 at Mitchellville, IA to Ed and Leone Craig. She married Raymond Kellogg in 1938 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. They were married over 70 years when Raymond passed away in 2008. They moved to a farm near Cumming in 1941 where they lived and farmed until moving to The Village in 1999. Alice retired from the accounting department at Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. in Des Moines in 1977 after 25 years of service. Alice and Raymond devoted nearly 60 years of faithful service to the ministries of the Cumming Community Church. Alice was preceded in death by infant daughter, Mary Beth; brother, Ed Craig; sister, Helene Deer; and husband, Raymond. She is survived by her daughters, Sharen (Lee) Norman of Sharpsburg, GA and Martha (Bill) Schnittker of Osceola; three grandsons Bryan (Tabitha) Norman of Summerville, SC, Kevin (Kym) Schnittker of Highlands Ranch, CO and Dennis (Mandy) Schnittker of Tallahassee, FL; and six great-grandchildren, Suzan, Anna, Eric, Daniel, Abby and Tyler. Alice has donated her body to Des Moines University for medical research, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to The Good Shepherd Fund at The Village or WesleyLife Hospice Care.
