Services for Alfred Onstot, 83, who died Thursday, February 5, 2009, will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 10 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.  Burial will follow in the Norwalk Cemetery.

He is survived by his children, Jean (Bob) Sanders, Richard Onstot, David (Lisa) Onstot and Donald, Brenda) Onstot; 19 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two foster children, Louise (Whitey) Spence and Rod (Karen) Blackford.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha; and daughters, Janice Baxter and Phyllis Morris.

Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 p.m., Monday, February 9 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 6 – 8 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be given to the family in his name.
